Studying Art and Technology I was always making but that was where the story ended. I never had the chance to dig into a story. When I was first exposed to the advertising world and started working for a student-run agency I felt like my art had a bigger purpose. The joy I felt from collaborating with other talented creative people changed my life and put a fire under me that propelled me to want to work for an ad agency after graduating from college. I was never the artist who dreamed of having their own gallery show. I loved to create but I didn’t have the same desires of how I wanted to show my work to the world. I didn’t know my niche until I was having a senior year “What is the purpose of my life crisis” with one of my professors when I said, “I want to make other people's ideas come to life.” He said, “Full stop, that's your line.” After that conversation, I realized “my line” had been a common thread in my life the whole time. It was all over me, tattoos. I have always viewed my body as a canvas and I started getting tattoos to bring that art to life. That is how I view myself in the ad world, someone who collaborates with others to bring creative ideas to life.
